To ensure the health of the eye and it’s suitability for contact lens wear, all of the contact lens exams at Brecksville Opticians and Paris Opticians include a thorough eye examination before the contact lens fitting. This exam includes evaluation for disease, muscle balance, and refractive condition with an eye glass prescription. There are so many new contact lens designs available today that many patients do not realize all of the options available to them. During the contact lens exam, the eye doctors of Brecksville Opticians and Paris Opticians, will evaluate eye health, listen to your occupational and recreational needs and get input on your personal wearing preferences to guide them in the proper contact lens selection. All of our contact lens exams include four months of follow up visits as needed.
We include a trial pair of contacts for every patient and encourage you to “test drive” the contacts for several days before ordering. If for any reason during that time you are not satisfied with the vision, comfort or any aspect of the contact lenses, return to the office and the doctor will explore other contact lens brands or prescription options. You will never be stuck with whatever the eye doctor prescribes!
